Come Along and Help Thomas & Friends Make Tracks for The National Autistic Society! Thomas & Friends™ have joined forces with The National Autistic Society – the UK’s leading autism charity – to raise funds and awareness for people with autism. The Train Walks are short-distance sponsored walk for children and their families. The money raised from your Train Walk will help the NAS to support people with autism of all ages in your local area. So come along as your favourite Thomas and Friends character and join your nearest Train Walks on the weekend 5th – 9th June 2009. Day out with Thomas events invite children, parents, and grandparents to enter the magical world of Thomas & Friends at heritage railways throughout the UK. Family visitors to our activity-filled events can meet, touch, and ride behind their favourite Number 1 Blue Engine. ‘Sir Topham Hatt, The Fat Controller’, is also in attendance at all events to ensure that the engines are behaving well and that Thomas is being really useful.
